  1. I just finished your book in less than 24 hours I couldn’t put it down. It was wonderful. I look forward to your next book.

    • I am glad you enjoyed Alex and Maddie’s story, Kay! I hope to have my next book out within 2 months and am about to start writing Brenna’s story.
      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I just finished your book. I bought it and started it yesterday evening. I absolutely loved it, I am very peculiar when it comes to my books and only read certain authors, I am now awaiting your next book. The only reason it took me so long to read it was I had to work. This was definitely a book I would have stayed up all night to read.

    • Thanks, Nikki! Being a new author, I really appreciate feedback. I am glad you enjoyed my first novel. My second novel is ready for editing and I am about to start #3.
      Keep watching!

  3. awesome is not enough, the first thing I did after reading Rescued by a Highlander is look to see where the rest of the series is. Brenna needs a story so bad. The brothers too, and then last of course the little squirrel you know she will need a story once the others are done and that gives her time to grow up. You have to keep writing and writing and writing for people like me who love to read and get lost in the story.

    • Thanks, Debbie! I do have plans for a series now that I know there are fans that love the Grants as much as I do! I appreciate your comment as sharing your thoughts is the motivation an author needs to write, write, write!
      (including little squirrel’s story)

    • Thanks so much, Jeanne! Being a new author, I really appreciate feedback from readers. My next book will be a Regency about a dark duke. I hope you will be willing to try it out.

  4. Ran across your book while browsing on Amazon. Loved it. Came to look for the next one which from notes above I’m just going to have to be patient. Stayed up way to late reading it the night I downloaded it and would have read through the night if not for having to go to work the next day. Finished the book the second evening.

    • Thanks for the feedback, Jen! I really love novels that read fast, so that is a goal of mine in my writing. Next up will be a Regency, but I promise to return to the Grant family. Love Highlanders!

  5. I just finished your book and was so bumbed out that there were not any more of the Grant family stories written. I loved it. It was a great story and just the right amount of sex. I’ll be waiting for the next one!

    • Hi Grace,
I am so glad you enjoyed reading about the Grants! I promise there will be more to come. Thanks for stopping by. Let me know if you are interested in being on my newsletter list.

  6. I love, love, LOVED this book! Truly this was a wonderful story of not only love but hope. As s survivor of rape, you captured the emotions and trauma and conflict. Thank you for the accuracy. I can’t wait for your next book to be released. You have a new fan!

    • Hi Michelle,
I am glad you loved Maddie’s story. I also like that you call yourself a survivor, which tells me quite a bit about your inner strength. My next book is different, but I think you will like it as well. The heroine deals with a different type of trauma.
Thanks for understanding my true reason for writing this story.

  7. I think I might have a new favorite author. I hope you have a long and productive career. I also appreciated the way you captured the emotional damage caused by rape and abuse. The part I liked best is the way Alex admires her strength her determination to survive. The damage to an abused person’s confidence and self worth can be extreme. Thank you for a new strong and clever heroine. LOVED Madeline!

    • Thank you for your kind words, Kathleen! I am glad you enjoyed Madeline’s story. You will find many of my characters will be wounded souls that somehow find a way to survive.
I am hoping for a long and productive career!

  8. I absolutely loved it! I can not wait for the rest of the series! Is there a way to be notified when your new books are released? Thanks for a great book!

    • Absolutely, Kristina! I will be glad to send you an email if I have your permission. I can send it to your yahoo address if that is your preference.
I expect to have the first novel in my Regency series out next month. I hope you will give it a try even though it isn’t a Highlander novel.
He is a very hot duke!
I am in the middle of writing Brenna’s story, so that will be after the Duke novel.
      Thanks for stopping by!

  9. Keira,
I loved this book. I too looked on line for more books. I discovered it by accident on I have read hundreds of this type of book and was happy to have found another author. The minute I started this book, I liked the flow of it – easy to read. I felt as if the Grant family was very real. Jennie, especially. Your description of her was brought to life easily. I too could not put it down. It is a good thing that I am retired and can read as long a time as I want too.

I am glad to hear that you are going to write more about the Grant family. I look forward to reading your next book.

    • Hi Betty,
I appreciate you taking the time to contact me. I am planning many more books about the Grant clan. I hope you will try my next book about the St. James family as well.
I think you will like it. I try to make all my books fast reading and emotional.
      Have a great weekend!

    • Hi Angela,
Your words mean so much to me as a new writer, so thanks for sharing! I have a book about a dark duke, The Duke and The Dressmaker, that should be out in October. Even though it isn’t the Grant family, I hope you will try it. Then let me know which is your favorite, the Grants or the St. James family. I love to hear from my fans!
Right now, I am working on Brenna’s story. Check out my facebook page at Keira Montclair, Author, to keep track of my novels.

  11. Absolutely AWESOME!!! Just like the others, I could not put it down!! I love the way you defined the characters. I truly felt what Maddie was feeling. I love the way you let us hear her thoughts!! I cannot wait until your next one!!! PLEASE add me to your email list so I will know when The Duke and the Dressmaker and any other of your books come out!!!!

    • Thank you, Tracy. I am really nervous about The Duke and the Dressmaker, but I think you will like Lady Sara Downey as well-let me know! I am at my final editing stage now, and I love this story. I hope you will, too! I will add you to my newsletter list.
      I appreciate your support!

  12. Hi Keira,

What an awesome, fast read! I was fully engrossed in this book and had a hard time putting it down. I stayed up so late one night that I overslept the next morning and was late for work, but it was worth it. :) The sad part was when the book had ended because it left you wanting to read more. I hope to read more adventures/stories about the rest of the Grant clan such as Brenna, Brodie and Robbie and hoping it interweaves their stories with appearances by Alex, Maddie and the twins! Thank you for the great read and helping me to get lost in their lives and this well written Scottish Highland romance story. It was a truly an enjoyable vacation from the daily routine! :)

    • Hi Becky,

  15. I’m only 1/2 finished with your first book Rescued by a Highlander. Now that the husband and kids are gone for the evening and the dog is outside I plan to curl up in my favorite chair to finish it. I hate the waiting period between books, could you possible finish the second book by morning (ha,ha).
I love the way Alex treats people with care and respect. I love when the main leading lady is strong, but when she and I cry together its a good book. Please keep up the good work. I gotta go now there is a sword fight I must return to. Almost forgot please add me to the mailing list. Thanks
